Herbal anxiety medications?

Is anything as good as Xanax for anxiety? Xanax has really been the only thing to help, but I’d would like to try an herbal remedy for anxiety.

Please only answer with personal experiences – no links!!

St John’s Wort and Valerian Root.

I’d stick to Xanax while you can, before your doctor cuts you off!

PS – Valerian made my heart go into a weird rhythm for a few hours and I nearly phoned an ambulance!!!
SJW was fine.

Firstly allow me to ask you a question. Did you know it could be dangerous to stop taking meications such as Xanax without Doctor’s supervision?
Now, if you go to your chemist and tell them what you’re looking for, they will probably show you either St John’s Wart, or a Mega B Vitamin group with a combination of herbs in it.
But seriously, your Son really should be checking with his Doctor first.

In my opinion doing meditation and "Anuloma-Viloma, Agnisaar, Bhramri & Udgeeth" can cure such difficult problems. I know many people who did it and cured themselves. As far as herbal remady is concerned, "Seredine" can be used.
