What are some good herbs to calm anxiety?

Cannabis indica. Make sure it’s indica and not sativa, because that will make you more paranoid and may cause more anxiety. I’m not even being a smartass. It cured my acute clinical depression and anxiety. I was on Effexor, Celexa, hydroxyzine, Ativan, Xanax, and Trazedone. All those meds did was make me feel like a zombie and gave me thoughts of suicide and delusions. Honestly, smoke some pot and you’ll save $700 a month on medication like I did. You might spend a little more on chocolate ice cream bars and cookie dough, but it’s well worth it. On a more serious note, though, withdrawl from anxiety medications is worse than the condition that made you take them in the first place! And then there’s the cost, the potential for abuse, quality of life, SIDE EFFECTS!

So, you made a good decision to go with herbs. Marijuana is not the only herb, but it is the best. Don’t believe what people tell you about it, look up the facts for yourself (www.erowid.org). But if you’re worried about the law and drug tests, I’d go with green tea. It’s natural and does many a good thing for your body and mind.

I hope I helped.

Been there and it sucks. Smoked pot for a brief period during and after my withdrawl. Now off of all medications, including pot, and never felt better. Haven’t had an anxiety attack in over a year and a half.
